Accelerator - Vanderbilt Summer Business Institute - Vanderbilt University

The Accelerator program is a four-week program for the students who carry no knowledge of Business subjects. The program covers topics such as Operations, Communication and team-work, Marketing to learn real-world experience and Business fundamentals from world class MBA faculty.

The students will spend 28 days in Nashville and Vanderbilt as a part of the program.

Essays Questions

Essay 1: Why do you want to participate in this program? Explain your post-degree short-term and long-term career plans as specifically as possible. When combined with your studies at Owen, how will your background, experiences, interests and personal attributes enable you to pursue these goals successfully? (500 words)

Optional Essay 1: Please describe how you would add value to your team and team members during the program. (500 words)

Optional Essay 2: You are strongly encouraged to provide an additional statement to clarify and explain any of the following: poor academic performance, academic misconduct, violations of the law, or anything else you think is important for the Admissions Committee to know about you that is not already addressed elsewhere in your application. (500 words)

Scholarship Essay: Accelerator Partial Scholarships are need and merit based. To be eligible for a scholarship, you must currently receive financial aid or show a specific need. Partial Scholarship awards range from $1,000 – $3,500.
