Admitted in HBS (Harvard Business School)
I have some great news! I got into both INSEAD and HBS. Just got the news from HBS at noon today.
I basically decided to apply to HBS on December 24th and the deadline was on January 10th so it was a very intense process but luckily they only ask for four essays and all the essays and thinking I did for the INSEAD application helped a lot.
I just wanted to thank you and say that I was really grateful for all your help and insight and how you were there anytime I needed help.
Waitlisted at Harvard Business School, admitted to Wharton
Worked with Rajit (HBS MBA graduate)
Thanks Rajit. Time to prepare for next stage
Called for Wharton Interview
Worked with Rajit (HBS MBA graduate)
Thanks a lot for your help. I received interview call from Wharton. I have scheduled my interview on 16th March in Delhi.
I have started browsing through internet to prepare for interview however your help in this regard would be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks a lot to Vineet Shekhar and General Ed team. I would like to thank you heaps for your help and continued assistance! I remember while writing the LBS essays I was trying to be dynamic and change too many things, in hope for improving upon them but without a proper guidance. The hardest parts of the entire LBS application were the essays that were turning out to be nightmares for me. Your deep analysis and wisdom, prompt replies and highlighting finer mistakes in my essays resulted in a flawless final draft of my application essays. The LBS essays also set a ground for all other essays I wrote for other Business Schools. Irrespective of the results, which I am hoping to be positive, I believe that it was a phenomenal team work and a great guidance by you.
Thank you once again.

Admitted to INSEAD
I have cleared the INSEAD interview. It would not have been possible without general ed.
Pamli consistently led me to introspect and look at the larger picture, patiently read through my drafts and gave insightful comments on logical structure of essays.
I am really thankful to you for your guidance in achieving higher level of understanding and achieving a top class admit in a school like INSEAD.
I am pleased to share that I have cleared the INSEAD interview and has got an admit. I will be joining the Sep intake batch next year. I would like to thank the consultants of General Education for the brilliant work they with me for my application essays. Starting with Rajit who gave a direction to my plans which later made me realize what I was doing wrong earlier.
Special thanks to Pamli for being extremely helpful, insightful, methodic in her approach. She has been patient all throughout the process and extended all the possible help I could ever imagine. Now when I look back at my essays, they do make me feel good about myself :-). Concise yet impactful.
Thanks a ton once again! Look forward to keep in touch with you guys.
Ms. C N
Prior to starting applications last year, I was quite oblivious and distorted with many questions running through my head viz. how to go about, which schools to apply, which schools would suit my profile, how do I market myself appropriately, how much details to give, how do I manage within the word limit?
I have got through both IMD and INSEAD and IMD has also offered a merit scholarship to me ...So , am planning to go forward with IMD , if am able to collect rest of the Moolah :) Thanks for all your help and effort
Admitted in INSEAD ILPSIE (INSEAD Leadership Programme for Senior Indian Executives)
Working with general education has been one of the most deciding factors in my success. Akshay has worked really hard with me not only on conceptualization but also customized his schedule many times to meet stringent application timelines in spite being busy. General Education's vast experience, legacy & insight about admission process and INSEAD interview are exceptional. They are truly a partner in success.
Ms. A R
This morning, I received an acceptance mail in INSEAD ILPSIE program.
And I must take this opportunity to thank you to each one of you.
Supreeth - Special thanks to you !! You gave me so much of confidence and truly helped me. Without you I could have never made it to INSEAD. I was so confused about the entire essay stuff. I had no clue what to write in first place. I am extremely happy as I wouldn’t have come even closer to writing admission essays like the ones we have created. Thanks a lot!
I will recommend General Ed to everyone who are interested in applying for such kind of courses. You guys rock !!! :)
Thank you once again.
Admitted to MIT Sloan
I got an admit from MIT Sloan. It was only after talking to you that I had applied to Sloan. Also, you advices helped me in the whole application process. Thanks for all your help & for connecting me to Anand.
Unlike my friends based in the US who had easy access to professional help for B-School admissions I had a serious disadvantage being based out of India. To top it all the crazy exchange rates meant that I could not afford the US based consultants. It was during a randomGooglesearch that I came across General Education and I decided to give it a shot. I got a chance to interact with Anoop for an initial profile evaluation and he seemed very supportive. Satisfied with his feedback I went for the paid 2 hour session on detailed profile evaluation and analysis with Ravikant which helped me fine tune my approach towards application. Anoop's optimism and Ravikant's morerealisticapproach towards B-School application turned to be a wonderful balance that helped me plan my applications appropriately. Special thanks to the General-Ed team for all the help.
Admitted to Chicago Booth, NYU Stern & Virginia Darden
I would like to thank General Education for helping me with my application and interview with Chicago Booth. Discussions with Vineet Shekhar and Pankaj helped guide my thought process enabling me to come up with wonderful essays. Vineet was always available to answer any questions that I had. Vineet and Pankaj will not write the essays for you. Instead they would teach you how to think and would help you come up with a structured approach to answer the essay questions. Going through this process would not only help you in preparing a great application but also would make you better at structured thinking and problem solving.I would highly recommend the services of General Education to any B School applicant.
Admitted to Darden, Georgetown McDonough, Kelley, Emory & Fisher
I have a great news to share. I know i am a bit late to share this news with you all.
Thanks to the entire General Ed team that guided me to realize my MBA aspirations. With continuous help from both counselors and consultants alike, I got admitted into Darden School of business with a very encouraging scholarship. I also get admits and scholarships from schools like - Georgetown McDonough with full scholarship, Kelley with 50% scholarship, Emory with 50% scholarship and Fisher with 50% scholarship plus monthly stipend of $700. I just graduated from Darden school of Business this fall and thought I will take time to thanks someone who helped me make it possible in the first place.
Thank you very much again for all your help and support.
Admitted to Kellogg Graduate School of Management
Thank You very much for all the insights and perspectives you have given me.
"General Education made the difference between winning and losing in the MBA admissions process! Vineet, the consultant assigned to me, scheduled a call to understand my profile and identify the themes that I should highlight in my application. He was a patient taskmaster, working with me to turn out three drafts for each essay until I had managed to present a compelling case for why I should be admitted into a top business school. While writing essays may not sound like rocket science, communicating your values, experiences, and interests in a few hundred words is one of the most challenging parts of the MBA application...but it's also one of the parts over which you have the most control. Vineet's experience in working with scores of successful applicants over many years really helped me avoid common mistakes and create a final product that highlighted my strengths and resonated with the admissions board."
Hi Arun and Anoop,
It gives me immense joy to inform you that I got the call from Kellogg!!!
@Arun: I owe you a lot for my Kellogg success. It was the first application that we worked on together. Your attitude to never compromise on the quality of the application is awe-inspiring. Even after working together / refining our Kellogg app for almost a month, you still went on to push me refine the career goals essay just a day before submission! This speaks volumes about your attention to detail and quality. Many, many thanks!!
@Anoop: Your calming attitude and optimism is infectious. When I first spoke to you, I was little unsure of myself. You motivated me to apply to the best B-Schools and were always there to give me a ring when I needed advice. Thank you so much for your personal attention.
I'm indebted to you both. Thanks you so much.

Admitted to CEIBS - China
I am very happy to inform you that I have received an admission offer from CEIBS, Shanghai for the course starting August 2013. I will most likely be taking up the offer.
I have spoken to a few alumni and they have very good things to say about the college. I am trying to get in touch with as many students as I can from the present and previous batches.
Vineet, thank you for your guidance. Please share your thoughts and opinion about pursuing MBA in China.
Admitted to IMD
I really appreciate the personal attention given to me at Gen-Ed, due to which I was able to improve my IMD application a lot and secure an admit too. I also took interview services for IMD where I got a lot of help in solving IMD case.
I took IMD interview service from General Ed, I was mainly looking for guidance in case Interview for IMD as it was something new in terms of the interview. IMD Case Study also involves on site team-work and working in those dynamics – for which I received proper instructions from General Ed.
Gen Ed asked me to send across a 1-2 page write up then they came up with their analysis, we then together discussed the case in detail and follow it up with any likely questions, imperatives, etc. They then shared similar cases from their repository and the solution for the respective cases.
The approach and the content were best in class and helped me to present the IMD case in best manner. What I got from General Ed was content and confidence and those were the major reason for my selection for IMD.
Admitted in Oxford Saïd Business School
I took the Full application evaluation service of General Education and am happy to say that it benefited me immensely in getting the final admit offer from the Said business school (Oxford university). Right from the selection of the B-Schools to apply to the mock interview, the process was mentored by Vineet Shekhar who helped me understand the expectations of B-Schools from the application and then prepare accordingly. The step by step feedback on the essay drafts provided by him helped me greatly in the introspection of my strengths which I was able to highlight effectively in the final submitted essays. Thanks to Vineet for his persistent and patient efforts which helped me bring out the best in me in the application, without which it really wouldn't have been possible.
Admitted in IIM Ahmedabad and Shulich
Thank you very much for the help that you extended in reviewing my essays. I had my interview in Newark on 6th Oct and got an admission offer from IIM Ahmedabad PGPX today.
Hi Anirvan, Karuna, Anoop,

Admitted in ISB
I got into ISB :). I am going to accept the offer. Thanks for all your help and support. I really want to thank General Education for its service.
I had a great time working with Anirvan . Given I had a very low gmat score, I was skeptical about my admission but Anirvan helped me put across a strong application. We had multiple sessions where he helped me identify things that should go into my essays.Later,he reviewed each and every sentence in my essays multiple times and provided convincing and valuable feedback.I really appreciate and admire the patience that he showed while working on my essays as there were multiple edits on my essays.Without his inputs, I do not think I would have been able to write such good essays. Also, the mock interview prepared me well for my interview.I am truly thankful to Anirvan.
I would definitely recommend General Education to my friends.

Admitted in BU (Boston University School of Management)
I am both excited and tempted to share that I have been recently admitted in Boston University School of Management with a scholarship of over $50,000. Much of this is credited to Vineet Shekhar, one of the directors of General Education and the overall assistance I received in every step of my application from the entire team. Vineet, despite his schedules has worked really hard with me from conceptualization to tailor fitting my application for the school to meet its stringent application timelines. Working with General Education has been a deciding factor in my success and I couldn’t have been asked for more refined and professional assistance. General Education’s vast experience, legacy & insight in ensuring a successful B-School application is exceptional. They are truly a partner in success.
Admitted to Kelley and Mays School of Business
I have got an admit from Kelley school of Business with a GraduateAssistantship for 2 years. As you know I also have an admit from Mays business school. Admit from both schools has confused me as Kelley is a highly ranked school and Mays is an averagely ranked one.
But Kelley is costing me 52 lacs (even after including scholarship and GA) and Mays is costing me 27 lacs (including the scholarship).
Mays's low cost and the career opportunities that Texas provides as compared to Indiana are currently pulling me towards Mays but the GA and the Kelley brand are pulling me towards Kelley.
Would be great if you can throw some light on these schools that would help me in decision making.
Admitted to University of Oklahoma and Alberta
Thanks General Ed team and Abhinav
It was really a roller coaster for me... I have received admit from University of Oklahoma and now Alberta too.
GMAT Score improved by 150
Thanks a lot to Akshat and General Education team. Twelve days back I was @ 540. Thanks a ton for your encouragement and support Akshat. I was completely planning to drop the idea of giving GMAT a fortnight back, but thanks to General Education for making it possible to score 700+ in my GMAT exam. Their GMAT preparation online certainly helped me achieve this.
