Interview Experience - Manchester
Manchester interview experience 1:
I was called for Manchester MBA personal interview in Mumbai, my interviewer was Associate Director of programs at Manchester Business School, and I applied during round 1 and was confident of getting interview call and finally made it to MBS. My MBA personal interview went on really well and my MBA interview preparation was very well for this as I got good amount of time for my MBA interview preparation.
I had travelled a long way for this MBA personal interview, all the way from Bangalore. The interview was on a formal tone, but my interviewer was a wonderful person to talk to and put me at ease soon after beginning and my Manchested interview experience was wonderful.
The questions were more emphasized on real life situations and profile centric questions.
- Why MBA?
- Why you choose Manchester? Why now?
- Tell about any one of your Leadership experience
- How would you handle conflicts within your group?
Also some profile based questions straight out of the resume and application.
I was asked to name and explain my strengths and weaknesses and what implications would they have and how I was preparing to overcome my weaknesses
After this I had the opportunity to ask about financial aid and about the placements @ MBS.
Finally I was excited to hear that I made it to Manchester Business School. So, my overall Manchester interview experience was very good.
Manchester interview experience 2:
My MBS interview was held in Manchester and took place in two parts both on the same day. Scheduling the MBA personal interview at MBS was surprisingly easy. I opted for a Friday mid-afternoon interview (held on campus at MBS) in order to make taking time out from work a little earlier. The first half of my interview was with an admissions administrator, in the form of an informal discussion over coffee. No difficult questions at this stage! I did my MBA interview preparation pretty well this time. Then, I had interview with the Director of Alumni Relations and the following questions were asked.
- Tell me a little about yourself
- Why MBA?
- Why have you applied to Manchester Business School?
- What, in your opinion, is the main challenge facing business today?
- Brief about your career path?
- Apart from MBS which are the other schools you applied?
- What are your strengths?
- Asked about my long term and short term goals.
- Any questions for us?
